Israeli startup company Sirin Labs has come up with their first ever smartphone dubbed the Solarin. It is super high-end phone and also claimed to be super-secure phone.
Priced tagged at $14,000 without adding tax, the Solarin device is a titanium-clad Android phone that features quick toggling between a regular Android gadget and a secure, locked-down one.
The Solarin is said to be targeting the titans of industry and those people with secrets worth stealing. It is designed to keep personal data safe from everyone.
The look and feel of Solarin is like a copy of device shown in spy movies. It is a beefy, ultra-masculine device that is easily switched into a secure mode with a green and white, 8-bit skin, disabling all the sensors and encrypting all calls and text messages thereafter.
The messages cannot be decrypted without trusted devices equipped with Solarin Friend app.
The company claims data on it is protected by 256-bit AES encryption which is again backed up by security firms Koolspan and Zimperium.
Sporting screen of 5.5-inch, if it is used in general mode, the device is just an average Android smartphone that runs on high-end Snapdragon 810 chip and equipped with 4GB of RAM. The phone is mounted with a 23.8-megapixel camera and a quad-LED flash. The phone is fueled by a 4,040mAh battery.
