In one of the latest studies it is found radiation from cell phone does not impact on the health as it was earlier thought. It is learned the radiation can be associated with growth of non malignant called schwannoma.
Scientists experimented with a set of rats and found no major impacts were noticed between those rats that were exposed to cell phone radiation for a specific period of time and the remaining that were kept in controlled environments.
The report added no possibilities of developing a type of brain cancer called glioma too were found from the study.
However, some scientists still believe the radiation can impact on health of human body in the long run and this is yet to be discovered.
Chief medical officer at the American Cancer Society, Otis Brawley, said general mass need to know all types of answers related to the impact of cell phone radiation.
He added it is known high energy rays like X rays can cause cancer and so it is also need to be discovered how the cell phone radiation affects us.
The study was conducted at a cost of $25 million and was funded by government. It is also being questioned whether such a mammoth investment in such experiment was a wise choice.
